Transformation
Remember the butterfly? Beautiful, right?
Caterpillars transform. They grow wings. Turn into butterflies. Magic.
Wait, no. That’s not right.
Do you know how caterpillars actually turn into butterflies?
They break themselves down into their most primordial form. They turn to ooze, a sort of butterfly soup within their own chrysalis.
Gross, right? Necessary, though.
They don’t just grow wings. They break themselves down, destroy everything that they are in order to become what they need to be. Sometimes change is messy.
Sometimes you need to break down and destroy your perception of who you are to become who you are.
Transformation isn’t always pretty. And that’s OK.
Remember the butterfly.
