Life is a game
This is the real secret of life: to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.
Alan Watts
I heard once in an audiobook that if you take your life as a game, you will live it with more lightness. You will start to see everything that comes into your life as a sportive challenge for which there is no win or lose but only growth. Being present in what we are doing is a way to experience life fully. Even work can be taken as a mindful play: we have some tasks to do and can complete them like levels in a videogame, one after the other.
More lightness: I think everyone needs it. We tend to take life so seriously that sometimes we miss the pure pleasure of living it.
